The drone video was posted on the Sternenko Telegram channel, a Ukrainian activist, and was confirmed to be authentic by Kyiv Post's sources in the SBU.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the Kursk region, where Ukrainian units had launched a morning raid against Russian border positions.

Up to 300 Ukrainian militants, supported by 11 tanks and over 20 armored vehicles, attacked Russian border positions.

At least two tanks and an attack helicopter were lost by the Russian occupiers, according to analysts of the Deep State Ukrainian OSINT project.

The Russian military bloggers claim that at least two helicopters, a Ka-52 and a Mi-28, were destroyed.
